Came here on two occasions now and I feel like this is my new favorite place! This is a VERY family friendly place which is nice since I am a new mom. Definitely a place I don't mind bringing the family to. They have a full bar which is awesome! The bartender really is amazing and definitely knows how to make a good lemon drop which is hard to find in this area. This place gets packed pretty quickly but it's hit or miss. You order at the counter then take a number to get a table if one is available. Both times we lucked out and were able to grab a booth. The first time we came the food was on point. The fried pickles are my fave! The second time we came the fries were served a bit cold which was disappointing since everything else was hot. Customer service both times 10/10. Will be back to try other yummy items on the menu.

Exceptional service (ask for Daniel) and the food was perfection. Highly recommend the grilled artichoke and tri-tip sirloin. My husband got the bone-in rib-eye and was speechless. From start to finish we were very impressed and Daniel was a treat.

Angel is awesome!!!! Best bartender I've had in Vacaville!!! She takes pride in her job & work!! Will definitely have to come in again. Loved her specialty drinks!!

1st time dining in ans had the feast for 2 which was a lot of food. The weather was nice so we asked for outdoor dining which was very pleasant. Drinks are self serve as well as their different bbq sauces (sweet fire, California gold, and smoky bbq) and cowboy ketchup. Besides sodas, they also had various lemonades and teas (I mixed the black tea with the turmeric ginger lemonade). Now to the food...the tri tip was perfect and tender. The ribs were not fall off the bone but still tasty. The garlic mash was perfect without the gravy. The mac salad was nice and cold with my kind of al dense pasta. The jalapeno cheddar corn bread was delicious with butter (nice and warm too). And can't go wrong with ceasar salad.

We stopped here on the way to the Bay Area it was a busy weekend but we were seated and served quickly. I ordered a salad and my husband ordered a sandwich and fries. Everything was so good! I love the onion strings that were loaded on my salad. Portions weee huge! They had both indoor and outdoor seating. If you are ever in the area, this place is worth a stop. Love the BBQ atmosphere and also loved the BBQ food.

Buckhorn is a cozy, bbq spot with yummy food and great drinks. You don't get a typical restaurant service since you have to order and pay at the registers before you sit. Then you wait for a server to bring your food and that's the most interaction you get with them. There is a bar area where you can also sit and enjoy drinks. We ordered the feast for two. It comes with 2 meats and 2 sides priced at $60 before tax. The two meats we chose was the BBQ chicken and Tri-Tip. The two sides we chose were roasted garlic mashed potatoes and coleslaw. This feast came with a choice of garden or Caesar salad and choice of cornbread muffins or rolls. You could also upgrade the cornbread to jalapeño cheddar. We decided to get the Caesar salad and cornbread muffins. To drink we got fountain drinks, but I decided to try one of their iced teas flavored "certified organic clementine" it wasn't too sweet and it tasted fresh. They had really tasty BBQ sauces to choose from on the self-serve table. Some flavors we tried were "California Gold," "Sweet Fire Barbecue," and "Smoke House Barbecue." They all tasted very good, but my favorite one was the "Smoke House Barbecue" none of the sauces were spicy at all. The food didn't take long to come. I thought the meats were cooked well and they tasted very delicious. The muffins were amazing and the salad was a huge serving portion! My favorite side was the roasted garlic mashed potatoes they were done so well. I think the food here is tasty, but expect to pay a lot! I do think it is a bit overpriced, but I definitely would come back to try their sandwiches.
